Help me become a kid's author

One day Lulu was getting ready to go to the store with her mommy, and when they got outside the apartment, they noticed a sign on the elevator that said it was out of service, which meant that it was not working properly. So they decided to take the stairs.  Lulu’s mommy thought this was a good time to teach Lulu about counting. So Lulu’s mommy asked her to start counting the stairs as they went down to each floor level. Lulu started counting the steps; one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight nine, ten.  Then they were at the middle level between the floors, so Lulu continued with the next steps to the lower floor; eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty. Now they were on the floor below them, but they still had a couple more floors to go down.  Lulu’s mommy asked her if she thought the next floor down would have as many stairs as the one above, and Lulu wasn’t sure, so she started counting again; one, two, three,...

One day Lulu woke up and she could feel a pain in her mouth. She didn’t know what it was, so she told her parents what was happening. They took a look in her mouth, and they asked her if any of her teeth were loose, because sometimes new teeth in kids start growing in, and can push the old teeth out, and it can feel painful.  But when Lulu used her tongue to touch her teeth, none of them felt loose. Lulu’s daddy called the dentist’s office and made an appointment to go see the dentist that day. Lulu hadn’t been to the dentist before, and she was worried that it would be even more painful, but her daddy told her that it would be okay, and that he would be there with her.  Because Lulu’s mouth was hurting, she didn’t want to eat anything. All she had was a glass of water. Then Lulu and her daddy got in the car, and he buckled in her seatbelt, and they drove to the dentist’s office. One day Lulu was playing in the park when it started raining. Lulu was playing in the sandbox, and it started to rain a lot. Suddenly the sandbox became very wet, and Lulu was still playing in the sandbox, with the wet sand. Then Lulu got out of the sandbox and went to the small field next to the playground, where there was some dirt.  The rain had made the patch of dirt wet and muddy, and Lulu started jumping around in the mud. Then Lulu got some sand out of the sandbox, and she mixed it with the mud from the wet dirt, and she tried to make a small mudcastle. But the falling rain just made the sandy mud castle fall apart.  Now there was sand and mud all over Lulu, and her clothes were wet from the rain, so she decided to go home. When she got home she needed to take a bath, because she was so sandy and muddy. Lulu turned on the warm water in the bathtub, and she plugged the drain. When the water filled up part of the bathtub, Lulu turned off the faucet. Now it was time to get...

Early one morning, Lulu woke up and wasn’t feeling well. Lulu didn’t know why. Maybe it was something that she ate for dinner that wasn’t good. Or maybe somebody she played with the day before had a cold, and now she caught that. Lulu got out of bed, and her stomach gurgled. Oh no, she thought he was going to throw up. So she went over to the bathroom, and leaned her head over the toilet bowl, facing down. Suddenly she could feel her stomach pushing things out, and then bleck, she threw up. Bleck again, and she threw up a little more. Lulu felt dizzy and tired after throwing up. She rinsed her mouth clean at the bathroom sink. Then she asked her daddy to come over and check on her. Lulu’s daddy saw that she wasn’t looking very good, and touched her head which felt warm. Lulu’s daddy decided that they would go see the doctor, just to make sure. Daddy carried Lulu, because she was too tired to walk by herself. When they arrived at the doctor’s office, the nurse told them it would be a sh...

One day Lulu was looking at some pens and notebooks at the store. She saw one that said “magic pen and notebook.” So she bought that and took it home. She looked at the instructions that came with the pen. It said that whatever was drawn would become real and jump out of the paper. Lulu tried it out.  She got out the notebook, and turned to a blank page. She used the magic pen and drew a hat. But nothing happened. Then she picked up the notebook and turned it upside down, and a hat fell out of the paper and onto the table. Lulu laughed. Now she had a funny hat that looked like the one she drew.  She put the hat on her head and smiled. Then she took the magic notebook and the magic pen, and went out for a walk. When she got downstairs and near the building entrance to go outside, Lulu saw that it was raining. She was about to go back upstairs to get an umbrella, when she remembered her magic pen.  She got out the notebook and on a blank page she drew an umbrella. Then she ...

One day Lulu woke up from a very funny dream, and she could remember it. In her dream, Lulu had a birthday and she was getting bigger, and she got some new clothes, and she was excited to try them on. She got a new shirt, and she got a new pair of pants.  The shirt fit very nicely, and so did the pants. Then in the dream, she saw that the tag on the shirt and the tag on the pants was written, “scratch for an extra one.” Lulu didn’t know what that meant, so she scratched the tag on the shirt, and suddenly an extra shirt appeared magically.  Then she scratched the tag on the pants, and an extra pair of pants appeared magically. In her dream, Lulu laughed with surprise. It seemed like she got some magic pants and shirt for her birthday. Now she had two shirts and two pants. Then she decided to scratch the tags on both shirts, and suddenly two extra shirts appeared magically.  In her dream she laughed again. Next she scratched the tags on both pants, and suddenly two extra pa...

One day Lulu was reading a book about some builders. And then she thought that she would build something out of her legos. But what would she build? She was thinking and thinking, and then she came up with an idea. She would build a toy road with a bridge.  She got her legos out, and she started putting the pieces together to make a small road, the size of her foot. Then she got some more lego pieces, and she put those pieces together to make a small bridge the size of her hand. She thought about different types of bridges.  There are bridges that go over railroad tracks, bridges that go over other roads, and bridges that go over water. Then she got an idea of making a small wooden bridge in the park to go over the small creek, so that squirrels could cross over it.
