Lulu and the magic pen

One day Lulu was looking at some pens and notebooks at the store. She saw one that said “magic pen and notebook.” So she bought that and took it home. She looked at the instructions that came with the pen. It said that whatever was drawn would become real and jump out of the paper. Lulu tried it out. 

She got out the notebook, and turned to a blank page. She used the magic pen and drew a hat. But nothing happened. Then she picked up the notebook and turned it upside down, and a hat fell out of the paper and onto the table. Lulu laughed. Now she had a funny hat that looked like the one she drew. 

She put the hat on her head and smiled. Then she took the magic notebook and the magic pen, and went out for a walk. When she got downstairs and near the building entrance to go outside, Lulu saw that it was raining. She was about to go back upstairs to get an umbrella, when she remembered her magic pen. 

She got out the notebook and on a blank page she drew an umbrella. Then she turned the notebook upside down and shook it, and an umbrella fell out of it. Lulu laughed and picked up the umbrella. She walked down the street and went to the park, staying dry under the umbrella. 

When she reached the park, it stopped raining, so she closed the umbrella. Then she saw a lady sitting on a bench with a puppy. Lulu wanted to give the puppy a treat, and she asked the lady if she could give the puppy a treat. The lady smiled and said yes. 

Lulu drew a dog food snack on a blank page in the notebook, and turned it upside down, and a dog snack fell out. Lulu gave the puppy the dog snack, and the puppy was very happy. Lulu was very happy too. Then Lulu heard some children playing, and she saw one of them running, and he tripped and fell and scraped his knee. 

That boy was sitting on the ground, holding his knee, in a little bit of pain. Lulu walked up and asked the boy if he needed a band-aid. He said yes please. So Lulu turned to a blank page in her notebook, and drew a band-aid, then held the notebook upside down and shook it. 

A band-aid fell out and she picked it up and gave it to the boy, who said thank you to Lulu. She smiled and said she was happy to help. Then Lulu saw somebody who was running, and they stopped next to a tree. Lulu saw the man try to get a drink of water out of his bottle, but his bottle of water was empty, and he looked tired and thirsty.

 Lulu walked up and asked him if he wanted some water, and he said yes please. So Lulu turned to a blank page in the notebook, and drew a bottle of water then held the notebook upside down and shook it. A water bottle fell out and Lulu picked it up and gave it to the man, who said thank you to her. 

She smiled and said she was happy to help. Then Lulu saw a girl near the playground crying, and Lulu asked the girl what happened. The girl said that her shoelace broke, and her shoe kept falling off her foot. So Lulu turned to a blank page in the notebook, and drew a shoelace, and then held the notebook upside down and shook it. 

A shoelace fell out and Lulu picked it up and gave it to the girl, who said thank you to Lulu. She smiled and said she was happy to help. Lulu noticed she only had one blank page left in the notebook. And now it was time to go back. Lulu went home and got ready for dinner. After dinner she was getting ready for bed and went to go brush her teeth. But she saw that the toothpaste was empty. 

Then Lulu remembered the magic pen and notebook. She drew a tube of toothpaste, and turned the notebook upside down and shook it. A full tube of toothpaste fell out and Lulu picked it up. Now she could brush her teeth. After she finished brushing her teeth, she laid down and went to sleep, slowly slowly slowly.
