Help me become a kid's author

One day Lulu was excited to go meet Sally. They were going to go to the zoo together with their parents. Lulu got ready and put on her backpack and her shoes. She got in the car with her mommy. And her mommy drove to the zoo. When they arrived and parked, Lulu got out and looked for Sally.  Sally had told Lulu that she would be wearing a green shirt, and Lulu was looking for that. Then Lulu saw Sally and her daddy standing behind some people. Lulu ran over and gave Sally a hug. Sally was glad to see Lulu. Their parents said hello to each other, and the four of them entered the zoo. Lulu and Sally thought about which animals to see first.  They wanted to see the lions. And they went over to the lion's area. The lions were very big. And outside the lion's area there was a display board. On the display board there was a picture of a lion's paw. Lulu put her hand on the picture, and saw that her hand was much smaller than the lion's paw. Sally suggested they draw the lion...

One afternoon Lulu was coming home with her parents. They entered their apartment building and walked to the elevator. Their neighbor was already standing there waiting for the elevator to arrive. Lulu and her parents said hello to the neighbor and waited for the elevator. When the elevator opened they all got inside.  They went up to the same floor and got out of the elevator. The neighbor went to his door down the hallway, and Lulu with her parents went to their door. When they opened the door, Lulu heard a little bell jingling softly, but didn't know what it was. Then they went inside and shut the door. Lulu took off her shoes and went to the kitchen to have a glass of water.  When she was in the kitchen she heard a bell jingling softly under the table. She looked under the table to see what was making the sound, but didn't see anything. Then the bell stopped. Lulu finished drinking some water, and put the class away. One day Lulu was reading about wheelchairs. And people who cannot walk sometimes have to use a wheelchair. Lulu remembered seeing her friend Jimmy's grandpa who was very old. And he had a difficult time walking. And Jimmy's grandpa used a wheelchair. Lulu wondered how Jimmy's grandpa was doing these days.  Lulu called Jimmy to ask him what he was going to do today. Jimmy told Lulu that he was going with his mommy to visit his grandpa. It was his grandpa's birthday today. And they were going to celebrate with him. Jimmy asked Lulu if she wanted to come along, and Lulu said yes. She asked her daddy if he would drop her off at Jimmy's place.  Lulu then made a birthday card for Jimmy's grandpa. She drew a picture of him blowing out the candles on a birthday cake. Then she put the card in her backpack and got ready to go. Lulu's daddy drove her to Jimmy's house and dropped her off. Jimmy let Lulu inside and said that his mommy was packing up the birthday cake...

One day Zebra was making some oatmeal for lunch. Zebra opened a drawer in the kitchen to get out a spoon, but there were no more spoons. Then Zebra remembered she had lent all her spoons to Bunny for an art project. Zebra went next door to Tiger's place, to borrow a spoon from Tiger. Zebra knocked on the door and Tiger opened it.  Zebra told Tiger that she didn't have any more spoons in her kitchen drawer. Tiger invited Zebra in and they went to his kitchen. When Tiger opened his kitchen drawer, there were no spoons in there either. And Tiger also remembered that he had lent all his spoons to Bunny for an art project.  Then they went to their friend's place next door, and asked their friend Elephant if she had a spoon to borrow. She checked her kitchen drawer and all her spoons were gone. She also lent her spoons to Bunny who was making an art project. One day Lulu was with her parents. They were walking by a street fair. A few blocks of the road had been closed down. And no cars could drive there today. Instead, people could walk across the road safely. And on both sides of the road there were lots of tables set up, with people selling different things. Some were selling arts and crafts. Some were selling clothes. And some were selling food.  There were even some tables that were playing games which people who were walking by could play to win some prizes. Lulu thought some of these games were clever. And she decided she would make some when she got home. After walking around for a while, Lulu and her parents were ready to leave. They went home, and when Lulu arrived she started to make one of the amusement games.  One was a balloon pop. She took a piece of wooden board, and ten balloons. She also got out ten small pieces of paper. And she wrote down the number one through ten on each paper. Then she folded the papers and p...

One day Lulu was helping her daddy clean up after lunch. They had eaten some salad, and there was a bag of broccoli on the kitchen counter. Lulu looked at the broccoli and thought it looked like something else. She opened the bag of broccoli and took out one small piece of broccoli. She looked at it closely and then realized that it looked like a tiny tree. Then Lulu had a funny idea.  She wanted to make a small display of things on a piece of cardboard. Lulu got some glue out and started with the piece of broccoli. She glued the broccoli to the cardboard. Now it looked like there was a small tree on the cardboard. Then Lulu got one of her blocks and drew some small squares on it.  Then she glued that block to the cardboard. The block looked like a little building, with the drawn squares made to look like windows. Then Lulu got one of her toy cars and glued that to the cardboard. And she got out a marker and drew long lines on the cardboard, in front of and behind the toy car....

One afternoon Lulu wanted to draw in her notebook. She looked for her favorite pen. But she couldn't find it. She tried to remember where she put it after she used it last time. But she couldn't remember. Was it in her backpack? She looked in it. Nope, her pen was not in her backpack. Was it on the bookshelf? She searched over there. Nope, her pen was not on the bookshelf. Was it on the table? She checked on it. Nope, her pen was not on the table.  Lulu went to her mommy and said that she couldn't find her favorite pen. Mommy suggested using a different pen. But Lulu still wanted to find her favorite pen. Then mommy told Lulu to wait for a moment. Mommy went to the closet and then came back. Mommy was holding a hat, and told Lulu that this was a thinking hat.  And that if Lulu put it on, Lulu could concentrate and think carefully about where she had used her favorite pen last time.
