Zebra Can't Find Any Spoons

One day Zebra was making some oatmeal for lunch. Zebra opened a drawer in the kitchen to get out a spoon, but there were no more spoons. Then Zebra remembered she had lent all her spoons to Bunny for an art project. Zebra went next door to Tiger's place, to borrow a spoon from Tiger. Zebra knocked on the door and Tiger opened it. 

Zebra told Tiger that she didn't have any more spoons in her kitchen drawer. Tiger invited Zebra in and they went to his kitchen. When Tiger opened his kitchen drawer, there were no spoons in there either. And Tiger also remembered that he had lent all his spoons to Bunny for an art project. 

Then they went to their friend's place next door, and asked their friend Elephant if she had a spoon to borrow. She checked her kitchen drawer and all her spoons were gone. She also lent her spoons to Bunny who was making an art project. Then Zebra, Tiger, and Elephant went to look for Bunny and see the art project. 

They went to Bunny's home and when they knocked on the door, Bunny opened it. They said hello and asked Bunny if the spoon art project was ready. Bunny said yes and brought them to a large field nearby. And there in the field were groups of spoons tied together and stuck into the ground. The scoops of the spoons were pointing up to the sky, and the handles of the spoons were down in the ground. 

This made the groups of spoons looked like flowers. And the ground looked like a field of spoon flowers. Zebra, Tiger, and Elephant said it looked very nice. Then they said that they needed their spoons back. And Bunny said that would be fine. Bunny ran around and picked all the spoons out of the ground. Now the spoons needed to be washed. And Bunny said he would bring the spoons back home to wash. 

Tiger, Sebra, and Elephant said they could help with the washing. The four of them stood next to each other in a line by the sink in bunny's kitchen. Bunny handed a spoon to Elephant. And Elephant put some dish soap on a spoon. Then Elephant handed the soapy spoon to Tiger. And Tiger rinsed the soap off the spoon. Then tiger handed the spoon to Zebra. And zebra used a small towel to dry the spoon. 

One by one, they washed all the spoons. And then when they were finished, Zebra, TIger, and Elephant took their spoons back. Zebra told the others that she was making some oatmeal at home, and invited them over to have some. They said yes, and they all left to go over to Aebra's place. 

They decided that they wanted to add some fruit to the oatmeal. And on the way to zebra's place they stopped at the grocery store. They picked up some mangoes, some bananas, some apples, and some pears. When they arrived at Zebra's place they all cut up the fruit. Zebra cut the mangoes. Tiger cut the bananas. Elephant cut the apples. And bunny cut the pears. 

Then they stood next to each other in a line at the table. Zebra took a bowl of oatmeal and added mango pieces to it. Then Zebra handed that bowl of oatmeal with mango to Tiger. Tiger added banana pieces to the bowl. Then Tiger handed that bowl of oatmeal with mango and banana to Elephant. 

Elephant added apple pieces to the bowl. Then Elephant handed that bowl of oatmeal with mango, banana, and apple to Bunny. And Bunny added pear pieces to the bowl. One by one, they all put different fruit pieces in each bowl of oatmeal. Then they were ready to eat it. They sat down at the table, and used the clean spoons to eat the oatmeal and fruit. 

After they were done, they washed the dishes, in the same way that they washed the spoons at Bunny's home. They stood next to each other in a line, and first washed the bowls, then the spoons. Now Tiger, Elephant, and Bunny said it was time for them to go. They thanked Zebra, said goodbye to her and left. Zebra then was ready for a nap. And Zebra laid down, closed her eyes, and went to sleep, slowly slowly slowly.
