Lulu and the Bubble

One day Lulu was playing in the park when she saw a street performer. This street performer was making some giant bubbles. He was holding a wand, which was a long plastic handle with a big circle on the end. And there was a large bucket near his feet.

Lulu watched as the street performer dipped the wand into the large bucket, and it was filled with soapy water. Then the street performer waved the wand around in the air and it made a large bubble. There were people gathering around to watch the street performer do some more tricks.

Then the street performer blew the large soap bubble up into the air, and it floated around for a minute until it popped. Then the street performer asked for a volunteer and Lulu raised her hand. The street performer had Lulu stand in front of the crowd. He dipped the want into the large bucket, and waved the wand from the top of Lulu’s head down to her feet.

The wand was large enough that the circle on the wand was bigger than Lulu. It made a bubble around Lulu, and now she was inside the giant soap bubble. The people watching clapped their hands. Then after a minute, the bubble surrounding Lulu popped.

Next the street performer handed Lulu a small bottle of soapy water. He told her to open it and use it. Lulu blew some small bubbles, and the street performer used the big wand to make a giant bubble around the small bubbles. Then while Lulu was holding the small bottle of soapy water, the street performer made another big bubble around her. And Lulu made some small bubbles while she was inside the big bubble.

The people watching clapped their hands again. After a minute that bubble also popped. Then the street performer asked Lulu to hold out her hands open. And he made two big bubbles which landed on Lulu’s hands. The street performer put his hands together, and told Lulu to copy that movement.

And Lulu moved her hands close together with the bubbles on her hands. Those two big bubbles stick to each other. Lulu swung her hands high up in the air and the two stuck bubbles floated up and then popped. The street performer had a chair next to him and told Lulu to stand up on the chair and try to make a giant soap bubble around him.

Lulu dipped the big wand into the bucket, and stood on the chair. Then she waved the wand from the top of the street performer’s head down to his feet, and now he was standing inside a soap bubble. Everybody clapped their hands. The street performer jumped up, and the giant bubble popped.

Finally the street performer was finished, and he bowed his head and thanked everybody for watching. Then he told Lulu that she could keep the small bottle of soapy water. As Lulu walked home, she blew a big bubble around herself. And she floated in the bubble down the street, all the way home, slowly slowly slowly.
