Lulu loves herself

When Lulu woke up one day and was brushing her teeth, she looked in the mirror and saw herself. She smiled at her own reflection, because she loved herself. When Lulu finished brushing her teeth, she looked in the mirror and said, “I love myself.” 

Then Lulu had breakfast. Today she had some eggs for breakfast, because she liked eating eggs. Her mommy and daddy made her breakfast, and she was very grateful to them, so she said, “I love you mommy and daddy.” They smiled and thanked her for saying that. 

Then while Lulu was putting the dishes in the sink, she looked in the window and saw her own reflection again, and she looked at herself and said, “I am nice.” Then later in the day Lulu went to the grocery store with her daddy, and while they were there, he forgot what fruit he needed to get. 

Lulu remembered and said, “we need bananas.” Lulu’s daddy told her that she had a good memory, and she smiled. While they were at the store, Lulu needed to use the bathroom, and when she was washing her hands, she looked in the mirror and saw her own reflection. She said to herself “I am smart.” 

When Lulu and her daddy reached the cashier, Lulu told the cashier a joke. She said “why did the number 6 try to stay away from the number 7 ?” The cashier said, “I don’t know.” Then Lulu said, “because 7,8,9.” The cashier and Lulu’s daddy both laughed. It sounded like the number seven was hungry and ate the number nine. 

When Lulu and her daddy got in the car, Lulu saw her own reflection in the car mirror, and she said to herself, “I am funny.” When they got home, Lulu helped her daddy put away the groceries. Lulu’s daddy thanked her. When Lulu was walking to the park, there was a puddle on the ground. She saw her own reflection in the puddle, and she said to herself, “I am helpful.” 

Then at the park, Lulu’s friend asked her to play together, so they did. Afterwards Lulu went home. When she was walking up to her building, she looked in a window outside, saw her own reflection, and said to herself, “I am friendly.” 

Then Lulu got ready for dinner, and after dinner she was reading with her mommy, and her mommy told her that she was proud of her behavior that day. Then Lulu was getting ready for bed, and she was brushing her teeth in the bathroom, she saw her own reflection in the mirror, and she said to herself, “I am good.” 

Then as Lulu laid down in bed, she remembered all the things she told herself that day. She told herself that she loves herself, that she loves her mommy and daddy, that she is nice, that she is smart, that she is funny, that she is helpful, that she is friendly, and that she is good. Lulu smiled as she thought about all that, and she went to sleep, slowly slowly slowly.
