Lulu and the cat

One day Lulu was going for a walk, when she saw a cat. Lulu stopped walking and the cat meowed at Lulu and looked at her. Lulu tried to walk past the cat, but it got in front of Lulu and meowed again. Lulu thought this was very unusual, and it seemed that the cat was trying to get Lulu’s attention. 

Then Lulu tried walking around the cat again, but the cat walked in front of Lulu and again meowed, and looked at Lulu to get her attention, so Lulu stopped walking this time. Then Lulu noticed it very clearly, and then she told the cat that she’s paying attention. 

The cat started walking one way, and stopped and was looking back at Lulu, so Lulu took a few steps towards the cat and then she stopped. Next the cat walked a little more, then stopped and looked back at Lulu again. Lulu walked towards the cat and stopped again. 

Then the cat kept walking further and Lulu followed the cat by walking behind it. Every few minutes the cat would turn back and look at Lulu, and Lulu smiled and looked at the cat and nodded her head. Then the cat kept walking forward. 

The cat walked down the street, then turned near the park and started to walk towards the park. Lulu was wondering if the cat was leading her to the park for some reason. But then the cat kept walking past the park into a field with some grass and flowers and bushes and trees. 

Then Lulu could hear some soft meowing coming from somewhere nearby, but she wasn’t sure where. The cat looked back at Lulu and meowed loudly, and Lulu could hear that the cat’s meow was different than the other softer meow she could hear. Lulu wondered if the cat could also hear the other softer meow, and was bringing Lulu towards it. 

But Lulu couldn’t see where the other softer meow was coming from. And the cat kept walking and looking back to make sure Lulu was following it. Finally, The cat stopped under a big tree, and there were some branches that had broken off the tree and fallen on the ground. Lulu heard the soft meow again, and this time it sounded like it was coming from under the branches. 

Then the cat started to put its paw on the branches and meow loudly. Lulu bent down to take a closer look, and then she saw that there was a kitten trapped under those fallen branches. And the kitten was the one making the soft meow sounds. 

And the trapped kitten must be why the cat brought Lulu to these fallen branches, to help it. Lulu grabbed the branches and she lifted them up, and the little kitten hopped out and meowed softly. Then the cat meowed loudly, and rubbed its head on Lulu’s leg. 

Then Lulu noticed the collar on the cat, and a name tag on it with a phone number. Lulu called the phone number and somebody answered. Lulu told them that she found their cat and kitten in the park, and that the kitten was trapped under some branches, which Lulu helped remove. 

The cat’s owners were very happy, because they hadn’t seen their cat and kitten all day. Lulu told them where in the park to find the cat and kitten, then she waited until they arrived, to make sure the cat and kitten were safe. The owners thanked Lulu for helping get the kitten out from under the fallen branches, and for calling them. 

Lulu said that the cat had led her to the trapped kitten under the fallen branches, and that it was a very smart cat. Then the cat owners left with their cat and kitten, and Lulu went back home, feeling nice for doing a good deed that day. And she walked back home, slowly slowly slowly.
