Kenny koala and the robot

One day Kenny koala was walking through the forest and he saw something under a big tree. He walked up to it and noticed it was a big metal box. There was a button on the box with the words “push here” written on it. So Kenny Koala pushed the button, and suddenly some noises started sounding. Beep boop beep boop.

Kenny koala stepped back and watched as the metal box started moving and two metal legs popped out the bottom, two metal arms popped out of two sides, and a robot head popped out of the top. The robot said hello to Kenny koala, and Kenny koala asked the robot what he was doing there.

The robot said he was there to help whoever found it. Then Kenny koala invited the robot to walk through the forest with him. When they got to one edge of the forest, there was a big road there but no place to cross the road. It was too dangerous to cross the road with fast moving cars and no crosswalk. And in the field on the other side were some trees where bird lived, and Kenny koala wanted to visit her.

Kenny koala asked the robot if it could fly, and carry him up over the road. But the robot said it could not fly. Then Kenny koala thought for a minute and asked the robot if it could dig a tunnel under the road, and the robot said yes. The robot started digging a tunnel that would go from the edge of the forest, under the road and to the other side where there was a big field.

The robot dug for a long time, and finally it was finished digging the tunnel. But when Kenny koala started to walk into the tunnel it was very dark, and he couldn’t see the other side. Kenny koala asked the robot if there was a way to light up the tunnel, and the robot said it had a flashlight which Kenny koala could use to walk through the tunnel and light it up.

Kenny koala was very excited and was ready to go through the tunnel and surprise Betty bird. Because before the only way Kenny koala could see Betty bird is if she would fly over the road from the field to the forest to visit him. Kenny koala walked through the tunnel and got to the other side of the road. Then he walked up to the tree in the field where Betty bird lived.

Betty bird could hear Kenny koala calling out to her from down on the ground, and she flew down to see him. She asked him how he got there, because he couldn’t safely cross the fast road. Kenny koala told Betty bird about the robot and the new tunnel. She wanted to see it, so Kenny koala took her to the tunnel and Betty bird was amazed.

The tunnel was big enough for Betty bird to fly through, and Kenny koala turned on the flashlight so they could see inside the dark tunnel. When they got to the other side in the forest, the robot was still there. Kenny koala took the robot back to the place where he found it, and pushed the same button as before. Then the robot’s legs, arms, and head went back inside the big metal box.

Kenny koala left the box under the same big tree for somebody else to find and use to help them. Then Kenny koala and Betty bird went to go look for some berries, and they walked away, slowly slowly slowly.
