A storm in the park

One day Lulu went to the park the day after a storm. When she got to the park she saw that it was very messy, because the wind from the storm blew over all the garbage bins. Lulu decided that she would go get some of her friends and help clean up the park. 

She went to her friend Sally’s place and asked Sally to come to the park. Then Lulu went to her friend Jimmy’s place, and asked Jimmy to come to the park. Lulu and Sally and Jimmy brought some garbage bags and brooms with them. And they began to sweep up the park. There were empty bottles of water. 

And crumpled up newspapers. And other types of garbage such as food wrappers. Lulu and Sally and Jimmy picked up the knocked over garbage bins, and they put the swept up garbage into the garbage bags, and then put the garbage bags into the garbage bins. 

Lulu and Sally and Jimmy felt good about what they did. While they were cleaning the park, some neighbors saw how the three of them were helping clean up the park. And those neighbors went and got some snacks to bring to Lulu and Sally and Jimmy. 

After the three friends were finished cleaning the park, they were tired and thirsty and hungry. Then their neighbors came over to them and said how proud they were of such hard work. Lulu, Sally, and Jimmy said thank you to the neighbors. And then the neighbors surprised the three friends with sandwiches to eat and water to drink. 

Lulu, Sally, and Jimmy were so happy to receive such a nice surprise. They sat down on a bench and enjoyed eating the sandwiches and drinking the water. Lulu ate a tuna sandwich, Sally ate a cheese sandwich, and Jimmy ate a peanut butter sandwich. 

After they were done eating and drinking, they had the sandwich bags and water bottles in their hands and needed to throw them away, so they walked over to the garbage bins and threw away the sandwich bags and water bottles. 

But Lulu, Sally, and Jimmy thought that the wind might blow the sandwich bags out of the garbage bins. Then they went and bought some big lids from the store, and they put those over the garbage bins. Now the garbage would stay inside the garbage bins, and the park would stay clean. Then Lulu, Sally, and Jimmy played at the playground in the park for a while, until they became tired. 

Then Lulu said goodbye to her friends and she went home. When she arrived at home, she cleaned herself up and took a shower. After her shower she decided to take a nap. She laid down and closed her eyes, then went to sleep, slowly slowly slowly.
