Imagination Elevator

One day Lulu was in the car with her mommy, who was driving. Lulu's mommy needed to go to her office building to pick something up. When they reached the office building, Lulu's mommy parked the car. They got out of the car and walked into the office building. And they rode the elevator up to mommy's office. When they arrived at the office, Lulu's mommy sat down at the desk to use the computer. Lulu said that she was going to go explore a little bit. Mommy said that was fine. 

Lulu went back to the hallway, and saw a different elevator all the way at the end of the hallway. She walked to it and saw that there was a sign above the elevator. It said "imagination floors." Lulu wondered what that meant. She pushed the elevator button and waited for the elevator. She heard a bell and the elevator door opened. She stepped inside and the door closed. Then she looked at the elevator buttons. There was a small picture under each button. 

She looked at the button for the first floor, and saw that there was a picture of some sand. Lulu pushed the first floor button. There was some buzzing noise and the elevator started moving and shaking a little. After a few moments the elevator stopped moving and the door opened. Lulu was surprised at what was there. 

Through the elevator door, Lulu could see the beach. She stepped out of the elevator and suddenly she was standing on the sand. She looked around and there was nobody around. She walked forward to where the water was splashing some seashells onto the beach. She looked back, and could see the elevator door open in the middle of the beach. She walked back and stepped inside the imagination elevator, and the door closed. 

Lulu looked at another button. She saw that under the second floor button, there was a picture of some fish. Lulu pushed the second floor button. There was some buzzing noise and the elevator started shaking and moving a little. After a few moments the elevator stopped moving and the door opened. Lulu was amazed at what she saw. Somehow the elevator opened underwater in the ocean. 

Lulu stepped forward and suddenly she was swimming underwater. She could see lots of fish swimming all around her, and they were all different colors and sizes. Lulu could breathe underwater, and she swam through some seaweed. Then she looked back and saw the elevator door open in the middle of the underwater ocean. She swam back to it and went into the imagination elevator. 

And Lulu noticed that she was dry. The elevator door closed. Then Lulu looked at the button for the third floor. And under it there was a picture of clouds. Lulu pushed the third floor button and the elevator started making noise and shaking. Then the elevator stopped moving and the door opened. Lulu looked out and smiled at what she saw. Outside the elevator she could see some clouds up high in the sky. 

She carefully stepped forward and there was a cloud right under her feet. She sat on the cloud, which was soft. The cloud floated around and Lulu could see down past the edge of the cloud. Far below there were buildings and roads and cars and people. Lulu saw some birds flying past the clouds. She looked behind her and saw the elevator door open in the middle of the sky. 

Then the cloud Lulu was sitting on floated back to the imagination elevator. Lulu got up and stepped into the elevator, and the door closed. Then the elevator started bouncing and making a squeaking sound. Then the bouncing and sound stopped. And the imagination elevator door opened. Lulu could see the hallway of her mommy's office again. She stepped out and walked down the hallway. She walked into her mommy's office and her mommy was finishing and getting ready to go. 

Lulu asked her mommy about the imagination elevator. Mommy said she didn't know about it. Lulu took her down the hallway and there was an elevator there. They pushed the button, but when the door opened and they stepped inside, it was just a normal elevator. There were no pictures under the buttons. Lulu's mommy pressed the ground floor button and the elevator went down. 

The door opened and they stepped out and were in the lobby of the building. They walked to the car and got in. Lulu told her mommy about the different places she visited with the imagination elevator. Mommy said that she was glad Lulu has a great imagination. Lulu smiled and sat back. Mommy started driving. 

Lulu put her hands in her jacket pocket and felt something inside. When she pulled it out there were three things in her hands. There was a seashell, there was some seaweed, and there was a feather. Lulu wondered if those things came from the imagination elevator ride. Then as mommy drove home, Lulu leaned back in the seat, closed her eyes, and went to sleep, slowly slowly slowly.
