Tiger And The Stretchy Soap
One day Tiger was at the store shopping for some things he needed. He saw a store worker standing by a table with a display. There was something new that was being demonstrated. It was a new soap that made things super stretchy. The store worker used some of the new soap, and cleaned a plate with it. Then the store worker stretched the plate. And the plate stretched and covered the whole table.
Tiger was amazed and wanted to try some himself. He put some of the new soap in his shopping cart. Then Tiger was finished and ready to checkout. He went and stood in line for the cashier. While he was standing in line he saw Zebra standing in front of him. He said hello and Zebra said it was nice to see him there. Zebra asked if Tiger was doing anything after shopping. Tiger said he didn't have plans.
Then Zebra invited Tiger to come over for lunch. Tiger said that would be very nice. Zebra had driven to the store, and said that tiger could ride back with her, since he rode the bus to the store. Tiger and Zebra put their groceries in Zebra's car and they went back to her place. Tiger asked Zebra what she got at the store. And she said she got some bread, and other things to make sandwiches. When the reached her place, Zebra put some bread on the table.
She also took out some tomatoes, and lettuce, and cheese, and mustard. They both made some sandwiches and ate them. Then Zebra asked Tiger what he got at the store. And he showed her that he got some new soap. Zebra said that was great because she wanted to wash her car today. Tiger said he could help and that they could use the new soap. Zebra said that would be great.
She got out a bucket of water and some towels. They went outside to wash her car. Tiger used the soap on the car, and then they washed it off with the bucket of water and towels. When the car was dry, Zebra said that she could drive Tiger home. Tiger said that sounded good. When they got in the car, they tried to close the doors, but the doors just bounced like rubber.
Then they pulled the doors tightly and the car doors finally closed properly. Zebra thought that was strange. Then when she started driving down the road, the back of the car stayed in the same spot. But the middle of the car stretched out, when the front of the car drove forward. Zebra was confused. Tiger looked at what was happening and remembered that the new soap made things stretchy.
He told Zebra about the new soap and Zebra laughed. Now her car was stretchy and rubbery. Tiger got out and went to the back of the car. He pushed it from outside and was able to push the back of the car towards the front of the car, and now the car was the same size normal again. Zebra wanted to find out how long the stretchiness lasted. They walked to the store and asked the worker how much time it took for things that became stretchy with the new soap, to become normal again.
The store worker said that the stretchiness goes away after a day. Zebra thought that was okay. Then she had an idea. She asked Tiger to bring the new soap, and go with her to the park. Tiger brought the soap and they walked to the park. When they arrived there, Zebra went to the pond. She wanted to see what would happen if they put the new soap into the pond.
Tiger poured some of the new soap into the pond and then they waited a few minutes. Then zebra tried stepping onto the pond and she just bounced around. The water had become stretchy and rubbery. Tiger stepped onto the pond next to Zebra, and he also found out that the pond was now bouncy and stretchy. Then Zebra went to a bench and asked Tiger to put some new soap on the bench.
Tiger poured some of the new soap on the bench, and after a few minutes Zebra sat down on it. The bench stretched down and bounced back up, throwing zebra into the air. She laughed and thought of something. She asked Tiiger to pull the stretchy bench back, while she was sitting on it. Tiger did that and then she asked him to let go. When Tiger let go of the stretchy bench, it bounced forward and flung Zebra towards the pond.
She landed on the pond and bounced around on the pond, just like bouncing on a piece of rubber. Then Tiger had an idea. He went to the slide and poured the new soap on the slide. After a few minutes he could pull the slide and stretch it out. Tiger and Zebra stretched the slide all the way to her place. Then they walked back to the park and got on the slide.
They slid down the slide, and it stretched all the way down the street to Zebra's place. They slid up to Zebra's place and got off the slide. Then it got late and it was time to go. Tiger thanked Zebra and he took his groceries and left. When Tiger arrived at home, he put his groceries away. Then he used the new soap to wash some clothes. When he put on those clothes they stretched out much bigger than normal.
And those clothes were too loose on him now. Tiger laughed and put those clothes away, and waited for it to become normal again after a day. Then Tiger made some dinner and ate it. After dinner, he took out a book and read for a while. After reading, Tiger was tired, and he got ready for bed. He brushed his teeth, and then laid down. He closed his eyes, and went to sleep, slowly slowly slowly.
