Lulu and the Coin
One day Lulu woke up and got ready to have breakfast. Her mommy asked her whether she wanted eggs or oatmeal for breakfast. Today Lulu couldn't decide, and she said she didn't know. Then Lulu's mommy took out a coin and gave it to Lulu. Mommy said that it was a decision coin, and Lulu could use it to choose.
Lulu asked how it worked. And mommy said that the decision coin has two sides, one side is heads, and the other side is tails. And she said Lulu could flip the coin into the air, and then catch it and open her hand to see if it was heads or tails. If it was heads, then Lulu would eat eggs. If it was tails, then Lulu would eat oatmeal.
Lulu agreed and flipped the coin. It went up in the air and Lulu caught it in her hand. Then she opened her hand and saw that it was heads side up. And Lulu ate eggs for breakfast. Then Lulu helped clean up the dishes. After breakfast, Lulu didn't know whether she wanted to read or draw. Her mommy suggested using the decision coin.
If it was head then Lulu would read. If it was tails then Lulu would draw. Lulu said okay, and she flipped the coin. It went up into the air and Lulu caught it again. She opened her hand and saw that this time it was tails side up. Lulu put the coin in her pocket, and took out her notebook to draw for a while.
After Lulu finished drawing in her notebook, it was time to go to the park with mommy. Lulu didn't know whether she wanted to ride her scooter or her bicycle to the park. Mommy again suggested using the decision coin. If it was heads, Lulu would ride her scooter. If it was tails, Lulu would ride her bicycle.
Lulu took the coin out of her pocket and flipped it into the air. She caught it and opened her hand to see which side was facing up. The coin showed that tails was facing up, and Lulu rode her bicycle. When Lulu and her mommy arrived at the park, Lulu went to go play on the playground.
After they had been there for a long time, Lulu's mommy said that it was time to go. Lulu said that she wanted to stay for a longer time. Mommy suggested that they used the decision coin to see whether they would leave now, or stay longer. If the coin showed heads they would go home now. If the coin showed tails, they would stay for ten more minutes.
Lulu flipped the coin into the air and caught it. She opened her hands and the coin showed heads side up, and Lulu agreed to go home now. When they arrived at home they got ready for dinner. After eating dinner, Lulu's mommy said that Lulu should take a bath. After her bath Lulu didn't know which pajamas to wear.
And mommy said that if the coin showed heads, she can wear her unicorn pajamas. And if the coin showed tails, she can wear her cat pajamas. Lulu flipped the coin into the air and caught it. She opened her hand and saw that the coin showed heads. She put on her unicorn pajamas. Then Lulu brushed her teeth, but she didn't want to go to bed yet.
She asked her mommy if she could stay up, and mommy said it was time for bed. Then Lulu asked if she could let the decision coin decide. Mommy said okay. If the coin showed heads, Lulu could stay awake longer. If the coin showed tails, then Lulu would have to go to bed.
Lulu flipped the coin in the air, and this time her mommy caught the coin. Lulu's mommy opened her hand and said the coin showed tails. And then Lulu laughed and said goodnight. She laid down, closed her eyes, and went to sleep, slowly slowly slowly.
