Lulu and the Bird Nest

One day Lulu was going outside to go play at the park. She packed some snacks in her backpack, and also a book. When Lulu reached the park, she went to the playground, and she played for a while. Neary the playground, Lulu could see that somebody was using a remote controlled toy helicopter.

The toy helicopter was flying above everybody at the playground. After some time, Lulu decided to take a rest, and she sat down under a tree. She took her book out of her backpack, and began to read. As she was reading, something fell down from above, and landed on her backpack.

Lulu looked to see what it was, and found a small baby bird on her backpack. She looked up in the tree, and she could see that high up in the branches there was a bird's nest. This baby bird must have fallen out of the bird's nest. Lulu wanted to help put the baby bird back up in the bird nest, but she couldn't reach that high up in the tree.

Then Lulu had an idea. She asked the boy using the remote controlled helicopter if he could help bring the baby bird back up to the nest in the tree. He said yes, but Lulu needed a way to carry the baby bird up, with the toy helicopter. Lulu ran home and got a spoon and some packing tape.

Then she came back to the park and she taped the spoon to the bottom of the toy helicopter. Lulu put the baby bird on the spoon, and the boy flew the toy helicopter from the ground high up into the tree. The boy controlled the helicopter to fly near the bird nest, and pushed the spoon onto it.

The baby bird was able to hop off the spoon and into the bird nest. Then Lulu saw that on the ground under the bird nest, there were some sticks that had fallen out of the nest. Lulu asked the boy to help build up the bird nest some more, so that the baby bird wouldn't fall out. Lulu gathered up some of the sticks and leaves that were part of the bird nest.

Then she put those on the spoon that was taped to the toy helicopter. And the boy flew the toy helicopter up to the bird nest to put the sticks and leaves on the sides of the bird nest. Now the bird nest had taller sides, which would keep the baby bird from falling out. The boy flew the toy helicopter back to the ground.

And after that, Lulu saw that the mommy bird came back to the nest high up in the tree, and had some worms to feed the baby bird. Lulu was glad to be able to put the baby bird back up in the nest. And she thanked the boy with the remote controlled toy helicopter. Now it was time to leave, and Lulu packed up her book, and went home.

When she got home she got ready for dinner and washed her hands. Then after dinner, Lulu drew a picture of a tree with a bird nest and baby bird in it. Then she got ready for bed. Lulu brushed her teeth, then laid down, and went to sleep, slowly slowly slowly.
