Lulu and Toy Elevator

One evening Lulu was going home. She rode the elevator in her building up to her apartment. When she went inside her apartment, she decided she wanted to make a toy elevator for her stuffed animals. She took a small box, and tied a string to it. Then she put the string over the back of a chair. 

As she held the other end of the string in her hand, she pulled it down. And that brought the small box up to the top of the chair. This was her toy elevator. She was able to pull the box from the ground up to the table, which was next to the top of the chair. 

Then Lulu got four of her toy stuffed animals. She got her toy zebra, her toy lion, her toy cat, and her toy dog. First she put the toy zebra in the box on the ground. Then she pulled the string until the box was lifted up to the table. Next she put the toy zebra on the table. After that, she put the toy lion in the box on the ground. Then she pulled the string until the box was lifted up to the table. Next she put the toy lion on the table. 

After that she put the toy cat in the box on the ground. Then she pulled the string until the box was lifted up to the table. Next she put the toy cat on the table. After that she put the toy dog in the box on the ground. Then she pulled the string until the box was lifted up to the table. Next she put the toy dog on the table. Now all four of the stuffed toy animals were on the table. 

Then Lulu decided that the toy animals would not take her toy elevator down from the table. Instead they would slide down. Lulu went and got a blanket. She taped one side of the blanket on the edge of the table, and she taped the opposite side of the blanket to the floor. Now she had a slide made out of the blanket. 

First she pushed the toy zebra off the table, and it slid down the blanket to the floor. Second she pushed the toy lion off the table, and it slid down the blanket to the floor. Third she pushed the toy cat off the table, and it slid down the blanket to the floor. Fourth she pushed the toy dog off the table, and it slid down the blanket to the floor. 

Now all the stuffed toy animals were back on the floor and ready to be put away. Lulu wrapped up the stuffed toy animals in the blanket, and rolled it up into a soft ball, and she put that on her bed. Then it was time for dinner, and Lulu helped set the table. 

After dinner, Lulu helped clear away the dishes. Then she got ready for bed. Lulu brushed her teeth and then laid down. Tonight she would use her stuffed toys in the blanket as a pillow. Then Lulu went to sleep, slowly slowly slowly.
