Lulu and the Mixed Up Clothes

One morning Lulu woke up and was getting ready for the day. When she went to look for her clothes she couldn’t find any clean ones. All her clothes were in the clothes basket waiting to be washed.

Lulu decided to take her clothes to the laundromat. After breakfast, Lulu put the dirty clothes in a small cart, and she pushed it all the way to the laundromat. At the laundromat Lulu saw her friend Sally who was also there to wash some clothes. Lulu saw that the last two empty laundry machines were next to each other, and Lulu and Sally used those.

Lulu and Sally put all their dirty clothes in the two empty laundry machines. Then they put laundry soap in it, and started the washing machines. Lulu suggested that she and Sally go to the park as their clothes were in the washing machines. Lulu knew what time they would need to put the clothes in the dryer.

After Lulu and Sally played in the park for a while, Lulu asked somebody what time it was. When they told her, Lulu said it was time to go back to the laundromat. When Lulu and Sally got back, they saw that the laundry machines were finished. They took out the wet clothes out and put them in the two dryers that were next to each other.

Then they turned on the dryers and went back to the park to play some more. Again, after Lulu and Sally played in the park for a while, Lulu asked somebody what time it was. When they told her, Lulu said that it was time to go back to the laundromat again.

When they got back, they saw that the dryers were finished, so they took the dry clothes out. Lulu put the clothes from one dryer in her small cart. Then she said goodbye to Sally and pushed her small cart all the way home. At home, Lulu started taking the clothes out of the small cart. But she noticed that the clothes looked different. After a few minutes, Lulu realized that these were not her clothes.

These clothes looked like they belonged to her friend Sally. Lulu laughed. She must have mistakenly taken clothes out of the wrong washing machine or dryer, because it was next to the machine Sally was using. The next day, Lulu was wearing Sally’s clothes, and she went to the park. At the park Sally was wearing Lulu’s clothes.

They both saw each other and laughed. Then Lulu said she would bring Sally’s clothes to her home to exchange those with her own clothes which Sally had. When Lulu arrived at Sally’s home, Sally gave Lulu her proper clothes. Afterwards, Lulu was glad to get her clothes back. When Lulu arrived at home, she put away her clothes, slowly slowly slowly.

Magic Stamps

One day Lulu wanted to write a letter to her friend Jimmy. She took out her pen and notebook, and turned to a blank page. She wrote a short letter saying that she enjoys being his friend. Then Lulu tore out that page and folded it. She got an envelope and put the folded paper in the envelope. She closed the envelope and wrote Jimmy's address on the front of the envelope. But now she needed a stamp.  Lulu went to look for a postage stamp in a drawer. But all the stamps at home were finished. And Lulu decided to go to the post office to buy new stamps. Lulu got ready and put on her shoes and her backpack. She put the envelope in her backpack and went outside. Lulu walked to the post office. When she arrived there, she saw a sign on the door. Tiger And Zebra On A Boat

One day Tiger was working on a boat. The ship needed a new anchor. The anchor holds the boat in one place when it is out in the middle of the water, far away from land. The anchor is a heavy metal hook, which is connected to a long rope that can be lowered all the way down to the bottom of the sea.  While the boat was tied to the dock on land, Tiger removed the old broken anchor. Then Tiger put a new anchor onto the boat. Now the boat was ready to go out on the water again. Zebra was walking by and saw Tiger on the boat.
