Making bubbles

 One day Lulu came over to see Sally, and asked Sally if she wanted to go outside and play. Sally said sure, but what were they going to play outside? Lulu had brought a bottle of bubble liquid, and said that they could make bubbles outside. 

That sounded fun, so they put on their shoes and went outside. They walked to a bench and sat down, and opened the bottle of bubble liquid. There was a scoop inside the bottle, attached to the lid, and they used that to dip into the liquid and blow air onto and make little bubbles. The first few bubbles were small and popped right away. 

So they tried again and dipped the scooper into the bottle and lifted it out to blow air onto it and make more bubbles. This time the bubbles were bigger but they still popped very quickly. Next they tried again and dipped the scoop into the bottle and lifted it out slowly to keep more liquid on the scoop, and they blew air softly onto it. 

This time it just made one large bubble, and it started to float with the wind. They were watching where it would go. At first it just floated above their heads. Then the wind moved it a lot, and it quickly floated across the street above people’s heads. And then the wind moved it again, and it floated back near Lulu and Sally, and they tried to reach up and catch it, but it was too high up above their heads. 

Then the wind pushed it even higher and it went up above the trees. It was a big bubble, so Lulu and Sally could still see it. They wondered where the bubble would go next, so they kept watching it. Then the wind pushed it even higher and it was floating next to an apartment building. There was an open window, and all of a sudden the wind pushed the bubble into that open window. 

Lulu and Sally were very surprised. They didn’t think that their bubble could float all the way up to a building and into an open window. They wanted to blow more bubbles but when they tried they saw that the bubble liquid was nearly finished. Lulu wondered what to do next. Sally said she had an idea of how they can make some more bubble liquid. 

They went back to Sally’s home, and in the kitchen they poured some dishwashing soap into the bubble bottle, and then put some water into the bubble bottle, they closed the lid on it, and they shook it to mix it all together. Then when they opened it, they were able to make bubbles again.

 Now they were ready to make bubbles again. But they would have to wait until the next day, because it was late and dark outside now. Lulu said goodbye to Sally and went home. Then Lulu had dinner and after dinner she got ready for bed. She brushed her teeth and then laid down, and went to sleep, slowly slowly slowly.
