Cloud shaped clouds
One day piggie was playing in the park with bunny. After a while they decided to lay down on the grass and take a rest. As they looked up at the sky they saw some clouds floating around. As they kept watching the clouds, they started to notice that the clouds looked like different shapes of things.
They decided to play a game and see if they could each guess what the other thought the clouds looked like. Piggie started first and pointed at a cloud, and asked what bunny thought that cloud looked like.
Bunny thought for a moment and then said he thought it looked like a broom. Then piggie said she thought the same cloud looked like a fork. And they both agreed that it was because that cloud was very narrow and long with a big part at the end.
Then bunny pointed at a cloud, and asked what piggie thought that cloud looked like. Piggie thought for a moment and then said she thought it looked like plate. Then bunny said he thought the same cloud looked like a ball. And they both agreed that it was because that cloud was very round, which is how a ball and a plate are both shaped.
Then piggie pointed at another cloud, and asked bunny what that cloud looked like. Bunny thought for a moment and then said he thought it looked like a book. Then piggie said she thought the same cloud looked like a building. And they both agreed that it was because that cloud was very square, which is how a book and a building are both shaped.
Then bunny pointed at one more cloud, and asked piggie what that cloud looked like. Piggie thought for a moment and then said she thought it looked like a cloud. Then bunny laughed and said that it must be a cloud shaped cloud.
That make piggie laugh too, and they both agreed that it was a cloud shaped like other clouds. Lots of clouds have funny shapes that don’t really look like anything. But it’s fun to see what our imagination can think that clouds look like.
Then as they were looking up at the sky, bunny and piggie saw a rainbow, and it was very big. It stretched very far from side to side across the sky. Then it was time to go home, and they walked back. At home they ate dinner, got ready for bed, brushed their teeth, and went to sleep slowly slowly slowly.
