Brushing teeth before bed

One day when Lulu was getting ready to go to bed, she decided to show her toy zebra how she brushes her teeth. First thing Luu showed her toy zebra is where she keeps her toothbrush and also the toothpaste, in a little cup on the bathroom counter by the sink. 

Then Lulu picked up the toothpaste and took off the lid. Next she picked up the toothbrush. She told her toy zebra, “we have to put a little bit of toothpaste on the toothbrush.” In one hand Lulu held the toothbrush by the handle. In her other hand she held the tube of toothpaste, and Lulu squeezed a small amount of toothpaste out of the tube and pressed it onto the bristles of the toothbrush. 

Then she put down the tube of toothpaste and said to her toy zebra “now watch how I brush all my teeth.” Lulu started to press the bristles of the toothbrush onto her front teeth and move the toothbrush up and down and also side to side. Then Lulu pushed the toothbrush to the left side of her cheek and brushed the outside facing part of her left side teeth, up and down and also side to side. 

Then Lulu pushed the toothbrush to the right side of her cheek and brushed the outside facing part of her right side teeth, up and down and also side to side. Now Lulu told her toy zebra that she wasn’t finished, because there’s still the inside facing part of her teeth to brush. 

Lulu opened her mouth and began brushing the inside facing part of her upper teeth, and then she began brushing the inside facing part of her bottom teeth. Next she began brushing the upper left inside part of her teeth, then she began brushing the bottom left inside part of her teeth. 

Lulu told her toy zebra that there was a little more brushing to do. And she continued to brush the upper right inside part of her teeth and then she continued brushing the bottom right inside part of her teeth. Then Lulu leaned down near the sink and carefully spat out the toothpaste foam. 

And she put some water in the cup and gargled that water, squishing it around in her teeth to rinse away the toothpaste foam Then she carefully spat out that rinse water into the sink. Then she put the toothbrush in the cup, and the toothpaste tube lid back on, and she was all done. 

Lulu showed her toy zebra that she had very clean and healthy teeth because she brushed her teeth every night and every morning. Lulu was glad that her parents had taught her how to brush her teeth. And then it was time to go to bed, so Lulu and her toy zebra got under the blanket, and lay their heads on the pillow, and closed their eyes, and went to sleep, slowly slowly slowly.
