Lulu And The Magic Chalk

One day Lulu was walking with Jimmy to the park. Jimmy had brought something with him to show Lulu. When they arrived at the park, Jimmy opened his backpack and showed Lulu a package of chalk. There were a few pieces of chalk, and each was a different color. Jimmy told Lulu that this was magic chalk.

And that if she held two pieces of chalk together to draw something, on the sidewalk, it would pop out. Lulu wanted to try. She took out a piece of blue and yellow chalk. Then she drew a ball on the sidewalk. All of sudden a blue and yellow ball popped out of the ground and was in front of Lulu.

She was amazed and Jimmy smiled. Lulu brought the ball over to some kids in the park, and gave it to them, saying they could play with it. Then Jimmy used some red and green chalk. And he drew a big slide on the ground. Suddenly it popped out of the ground. Lulu and Jimmy carried the new slide over to the playground.

Some kids ran over to play on the red and green. Then Lulu took out some orange and brown chalk. And she drew a bicycle on the sidewalk. All of a sudden, a bicycle popped out of the ground. Lulu was excited to see the bicycle. She said she was going to ride it around the park, and told Jimmy to draw one for himself.

He took out some purple and pink chalk, and he drew a bicycle on the sidewalk. Then another bicycle popped out of the ground. Jimmy laughed and thought that was great. Then Lulu and Jimmy got on the bicycles and started riding around. As they rode their bicycles, they looked back and noticed something.

Behind Lulu's bicycle tire on the ground was a brown and orange line, wherever she rode. And behind Jimmy's tire on the ground was a purple and pink line, wherever he rode. Then they looked at their hands. Lulu's hands had orange and brown all over it. And Jimmy had purple and pink all over his hands.

They rode the bicycles back to the park, and went over to the kids who were playing with the ball. The kids were kicking the ball around, and all their shoes had blue and yellow marks on it. Then Lulu and Jimmy went to the see-saw, and looked at the back of the kids pants.

There was red and green on the back of those kids' pants. Whatever color chalk Lulu and Jimmy had used to draw the things on the sidewalk, the same colors were rubbing off the things and onto everybody. Then it started raining and the chalk drawings Lulu and Jimmy had drawn on the ground were getting washed away.

And they saw the bicycles start to melt in front of them. Suddenly there was a pile of brown and orange in front of Lulu. And there was a pile of purple and pink in front of Jimmy. They looked over at the field where the kids were kicking the ball. And suddenly there was a pile of blue and yellow on the grass in front of the kids.

And in the park where the kids were playing on the slide, suddenly the slide was gone. And on the ground there was just a bunch of red and green color marks. It looked like the rain was washing away the magic chalk drawings on the sidewalk. And that was making the things that appeared melt away into piles of the colors used to draw them.

Lulu and Jimmy laughed and decided it was time to leave. Lulu said goodbye to Jimmy and went home. When she arrived at home, she took a shower. Then she got ready for dinner and helped set the table. After eating dinner with her parents, Lulu took out her notebook.

She used some coloring pencils to draw the things she had made with Jimmy that day. Blue and yellow for the ball. Red and green for the slide. Brown and orange for the first bicycle. Purple and pink for the second bicycle. Then Lulu put that colorful drawing on the refrigerator. Afterwards, she got ready for bed and brushed her teeth. Finally, she laid down and went to sleep, slowly slowly slowly.
