Magic Gloves and Socks

One day Lulu was having some breakfast. She was eating oatmeal with some pieces of banana in it. Then she cleaned up by washing the dishes. Next, Lulu got ready to go see her friend Jimmy. She put on her backpack, and her shoes, and went outside. Lulu brought a bottle of water, and a book in her backpack. 

She was going to exchange a book with Jimmy. Lulu took the bus, and looked out the window at the different streets the bus passed by. One street had a magic shop on it. Then the bus arrived near Jimmy's home. When she knocked on the door, Jimmy opened it and he was excited to see her. Lulu went inside.

She took out her book, and showed it to Jimmy. It was a book about insects. Jimmy went to the bookshelf to get the book he wanted to show Lulu. It was a book about puppets. Lulu opened the book and began to read it. In the book she read that people can also make their stuffed toys into puppets. 

All they needed was some thread and a sewing needle, plus a stick. Jimmy wanted to try and make his stuffed toy bunny into a puppet, and Lulu thought that was a fun idea. Jimmy got some thread and a needle. They also needed a stick. And Lulu went to the kitchen and found a chopstick they could use. Then Jimmy used the needle to sew the thread onto the arms of the toy rabbit. 

Then he tied the other end of the thread to the chopstick. Now they could hold the chopstick above the toy bunny, and pretend to make its arms move around. Then they decided to go to the playground and show some other kids the puppet they made with the toy bunny. Lulu and Jimmy got on the bus and were riding that to the playground. 

On the way, Lulu told Jimmy about the magic shop and they decided to stop there before going to the playground. In the magic shop they saw a bag with two pairs of gloves. The instructions on the bag said that putting on one pair of gloves makes the other pair of gloves move. They wanted to try that on the stuffed toy bunny, and they bought the magic gloves. 

Then they went to the playground. Lulu put one pair of gloves on the toy bunny, and Lulu put the other pair of gloves on her hands. Now when she moved her right hand, the toy bunny's right hand moved. And when she moved her left hand, the toy bunny's left hand moved. Jimmy laughed and he took off the thread and chopstick they had put on earlier. 

But they also wanted to make the toy bunny walk. All of a sudden a unicorn popped out from behind a tree. It was wearing two pairs of socks, and gave those socks to Lulu and Jimmy. The unicorn said those were magic socks they could use on the toy bunny. Then the unicorn popped back behind the tree and disappeared. 

Jimmy put one pair of socks on the toy bunny, and he put the other pair of socks on his feet. Now when Jimmy moved his right foot, the toy bunny's right foot moved. And when he moved his left foot, the toy bunny's left foot moved. Lulu and Jimmy both laughed. Then they took the toy bunny to the playground and showed all the other kids how the toy bunny could dance and move. 

Lulu used her hands, and Jimmy used his feet, and they pretended to walk and climb. The toy bunny walked to the slide and climbed up the steps. Then it went down the slide. All the other kids laughed and clapped their hands. Lulu clapped her hands too, and that made the toy bunny clap its hands. Jimmy jumped up and down, and that made the toy bunny jump up and down too. 

One of the other kids brought a bag of snacks and wanted to share it with everybody. Lulu and Jimmy were able to get the bunny to walk around and hold the bag out for all the other kids to take some snacks out of it. Then it was getting late and time for everybody to go home. Jimmy told Lulu to take the set of the gloves and socks from his toy bunny. 

And he would take the other set of gloves and socks home. And Jimmy suggested to Lulu that she put the gloves and socks on her toy zebra at home. And he would surprise her by using his gloves and socks that night. Lulu thought that was a funny idea and went home. 

When she arrived at home, she put the gloves and socks on her stuffed toy zebra. Then the zebra started dancing and doing cartwheels. Then the zebra sat down. And Lulu also sat at the dinner table and had something to eat. After dinner Lulu brushed her teeth. Then she saw the zebra lay down on the bed. Lulu also laid down, and she closed her eyes, and went to sleep, slowly slowly slowly.
