Lulu and the Magic Coat

One day Lulu wanted to go to the park, and she got ready. It was a windy day, and she put on her jacket. Then she put her shoes on and walked to the park. When she got there, she saw her friend Jimmy. Lulu took her jacket off and put it on a bench. She and Jimmy played on the playground at the park for a while. 

Then suddenly the wind became very strong and blew Lulu's jacket into the air. Lulu looked up and saw her jacket get carried by the wind far away until she couldn't see it anymore. Now Lulu didn't have a jacket. Then Lulu saw a coat floating down from the air, and it landed on the bench next to her. 

Lulu picked up the coat. She didn't know where it came from. Maybe the wind blew it over here from somewhere else, just like how the wind blew her jacket away. Jimmy suggested that Lulu try on the coat. Lulu put the coat on, but it was too big for her. Then Jimmy said he was thirsty but he didn't bring any water with him today. 

And Lulu was also thirsty, but she didn't bring any water either. Lulu said aloud that she wished they had a bottle of water. Then all of a sudden she felt one of the pockets on the coat became heavier. She put her hand in that pocket and pulled out a water bottle. That was amazing. Lulu and Jimmy drank some water. 

Then Jimmy said he was hungry, but he didn't bring any snacks with him today. And Lulu was also hungry, but she didn't bring any snacks either. Then Lulu said aloud that she wished they had something to eat. Now all of a sudden she felt one of the other pockets on the coat became heavier. 

Lulu put her hand in that pocket and pulled out a bag of trail mix. That was amazing. Lulu and Jimmy shared the trail mix. Then Jimmy wondered if Lulu could use the magic coat to find her own jacket. Lulu tried to find out and said aloud that she wished she could find her jacket. She didn't feel anything happen to the magic coat she was wearing. 

Then she put her hands in the pockets to see if anything was in it. Lulu felt a folded piece of paper in a pocket. She took out the folded piece of paper and showed it to Jimmy. He unfolded it and they looked at it. On the folded piece of paper was a picture of a tree. Lulu and Jimmy looked around at all the trees in the park. 

They started walking around and then saw that there was a tree on the far end of the park. And in that tree they saw Lulu's jacket. But how could they get it down? Lulu said aloud that she wished there was a way to get her jacket out of the tree. Then she put her hands in the pockets of the magic coat. 

And there was another folded piece of paper in a pocket. Lulu took out the folded piece of paper and showed it to Jimmy. He unfolded it and they looked at it. On this folded piece of paper was a picture of some bushes. There were some bushes near the tree, and Jimmy looked behind it. 

He found a trampoline there and told Lulu. She came over and saw it. They pulled the trampoline out from behind the bushes and put it under the tree. Then Lulu climbed onto the trampoline and started to jump up and down. She was able to jump and bounce all the way up to the branches of the tree where her jacket was stuck. 

She grabbed her jacket and landed back down on the trampoline. She got off the trampoline and back onto the ground. Then Lulu took off the coat, and put it on the trampoline. Then she put her jacket on and was glad to have it back. Then all of a sudden there was another strong gust of wind and Lulu zipped up her jacket. 

There were a bunch of leaves that blew onto the coat and trampoline and covered it. Then Lulu and Jimmy looked for the coat and trampoline, but both things had disappeared. And then they also noticed that the water bottle and bag of trail mix had disappeared. Lulu and Jimmy were amazed at the magic coat. And Lulu was glad that it helped her find her jacket again. 

Now it was time to go home. Lulu said goodbye to Jimmy and went back home. When she arrived at home, she put her jacket on a hanger and hung it in the closet. Then she cleaned up and got ready for dinner. After eating dinner she read one of her books. Then she got ready for bed, and brushed her teeth. And she laid down, closed her eyes, and went to sleep, slowly slowly slowly.
