Lulu and the Giant Ball

One day Lulu was at the store with her mommy. While they were in the store Lulu saw a game that was being played. If people won the game, they would get a prize. Lulu walked up to the game and tried it. The game was made from a tower of plastic cups. And Lulu had to stand behind a line on the ground. 

Then she was given three small bean bags. And she had to throw the bean bags at the cups. Lulu threw the first bean bag, and she missed. Then Lulu threw the second bean bag, and she missed the cups. Then Lulu blinked a lot, and looked carefully at the tower of plastic cups, then the leaned back. 

She held her hand out, and swung her arm forward and threw the bean bag. This time the bean bag knocked the tower of plastic cups down. Lulu won the prize which was in a large box. She was excited and wanted to go home and open the box. Lulu and her mommy left the store. Then when they got home, 

Lulu opened the box and saw what was inside. It was a giant rubber ball that clear. And she could see that it was empty inside. The rubber ball was bigger than Lulu. She looked all around it and saw that there was a flap on the ball. She opened the flap and was able to get inside, and then close the flap. 

Now she was inside the giant rubber ball. Lulu tried walking forward and the ball rolled with her inside it. Lulu decided she wanted to take the giant rubber ball to Sally's home and show it to Sally. Then Lulu walked out of her apartment while still in the rubber ball. She walked down the hallway and reached the stairs. 

She leaned forward and the ball rolled down the stairs. Lulu bounced around inside the ball and laughed all the way to the bottom of the stairs. Then Lulu rolled out of the building, still inside the rubber ball. Lulu rolled down the street all the way to Sally's home. When Lulu got there, she showed Sally the giant rubber ball. 

Sally was amazed. Lulu asked Sally to get some pillows to put inside the giant rubber ball so that Sally could get inside with Lulu and bounce around. Sally got some pillows and Lulu opened the flap and Sally got inside. Then they rolled the giant ball down the street while bouncing inside it. 

They rolled all the way to the ferry dock, and the giant ball rolled off the dock and onto the water. The giant clear rubber ball floated on the water, while Lulu and Sally were still inside it. Then they saw two dolphins swim up next to them. The dolphins started bouncing the giant ball between each other, making Lulu and Sally laugh. 

While the dolphins were bouncing the ball up from the water, a ferry was passing by, and the giant ball landed on the ferry. When the ferry went back to the dock, Lulu and Sally rolled off the ferry, and they rolled in the giant ball, down the street. As they kept bouncing down the street they were approaching a construction site. 

Some workers were pouring wet cement onto the ground to make a new sidewalk. Before Lulu and Sally could stop the rubber ball, it rolled onto the wet cement and got stuck. They got out and the construction workers said they would have to pop the ball to get it out of the wet cement. 

The construction workers used a machine to pull the giant ball out of the wet cement, and that machine broke the ball. Then the construction workers said they would throw away the broken ball for the girls. Lulu and Sally thanked them, and then they went home. 

When they arrived at Lulu's place, Sally realized that she forgot her pillows in the broken ball. Lulu gave Sally one of her own pillows and Sally thanked Lulu. Then Sally left and went home. Lulu was tired from all the bouncing around all day and was read for a nap. Lulu laid down, closed her eyes, and went to sleep, slowly slowly slowly.
