Lulu and Extra Legs

One day Lulu was reading a book about spiders. In the book it said that spiders have eight legs. Lulu thought that was amazing. She imagined what it would be like to have eight legs herself. Then Lulu had an idea to make more pretend legs. She went to the closet and got out two pairs of pants. 

She took the first pair of pants and tied off the bottom of the pants. Then she took a lot of socks and stuffed that into the pants. Then she tied off the top of the pants. Now she had a pair of pants with the legs filled up. She did the same thing with the second pair of pants. 

Then she took a string and tied one end on the first pants, and tied the other end of the string on the second pants. And she put the string over her shoulders. Now the two pants hung on her left and right sides, and it looked like extra legs were coming out of her sides. And with her own arms and feet, and now the extra pants on her sides, it looked like Lulu had eight legs altogether. 

Lulu wanted to go outside and see what people thought of her. Lulu put on her shoes and went out. She got in the elevator of her building and pushed the button to go down. The elevator stopped on the way, and somebody got in. When they saw Lulu they smiled and asked her why she had extra pants hanging on her sides. Lulu said that she was dressed as a spider. 

The person smiled and said that Lulu looked very good as a spider. Then the elevator reached the ground floor and Lulu stepped out. She went outside and walked down the street. As she walked along, people passing by her waved and said "hello spider." Lulu was glad that people could see that she was dressed up as a spider today. Soon Lulu arrived at the park. 

When she got there she wanted to make a spider web. But she didn't have a way to do it. Then she remembered the magical unicorn who could help her. She called out for it to come see her. She spun around three times and said "unicorn, unicorn, unicorn." And then she saw the unicorn step out from behind a tree. The unicorn asked Lulu how it could help her today. 

Lulu said that she wanted to be able to make a spider web. The unicorn jumped up and down, and bumped its head on Lulu's extra pant legs. Then the unicorn said that now Lulu would be able to make a spider web today. Then Lulu walked over to a big field and saw a bunch of people flying kites. 

Suddenly a pigeon flew across the field and it accidentally snapped the strings of all the kites. Now the kites were getting blown away by the wind. Quickly, Lulu ran between two trees and climbed up high. And she made a large spider web between the two trees. Then she came down and everybody watched the kites in the air. 

The wind blew the kites between the two trees, and the kites got caught in the spider web Lulu made. Everybody clapped their hands and cheered. They thanked Lulu the spider for helping them catch their kites. Then Lulu made some spider string for the people to use and fly their kites again. 

Lulu wanted to go down the slide at the playground nearby. Now she was ready to go back home. When Lulu arrived outside her building, she saw somebody trying to put a big box on the roof of their car. But they didn't have a way to hold it there. Then Lulu said she could help, and she made a large spider web on the roof of the car over the big box. 

And now the person could drive away with the box held tightly on the roof of the car. They thanked Lulu. And now the person could drive away with the box held tightly on the roof of the car. Lulu went into her building and came home. She took off the extra pant legs that were hanging on her sides all day. 

Then she got ready for dinner with her parents. After she ate dinner, she drew a picture of the kites in the giant spider web between the trees. And then she got ready for bed by brushing her teeth. Then Lulu laid down, closed her eyes, and went to sleep, slowly slowly slowly.
