Lulu Finds Some Feathers

One day Lulu was playing at the park. While she was at the park she saw lot of birds flying up in the sky. Then she saw the birds fly down and land on all the branches of all trees in the park. The birds all flapped their wings very hard, and many of their feathers fell down on the ground. Lulu wanted to collect all the feathers. 

She ran home and got a bag, and came back to the park. Lulu walked around under the trees picking up all the feathers that had fallen down. She had a big bag with her and she was able to put so many feathers in it that it became full. Then Lulu had an idea of using the feathers to make some wings. 

Lulu took the big bag of feathers to Sally's home. Lulu knocked on Sally's door, and when Sally opened the door she was happy to see Lulu. Sally asked Lulu was was in the big bag, and Lulu opened it and showed her. Sally was amazed to see so many feathers. 

Then Lulu told Sally that she had an idea of making wings so they could fly. Sally said she had some cardboard and glue that they could use. Lulu and Sally got out some cardboard and cut it to be as long as their arms. Then they used the glue to glue the feathers to the pieces of long cardboard. 

Now it looked like Sally and Lulu both had two wings each. They used some string to tie the wings to each arm. Now they were ready to go try their new wings. Lulu and Sally went to the park, and there was a field with a big hill next to it. They went to the top of the hill and faced towards the bottom. 

Then they stretched out their arms, with their cardboard wings tied to their arms. They started running down the hill very fast, and flapping their arms holding the wings. All of a sudden their feet came up off the ground, and Lulu and Sally were flying through the air. 

They flew above the park and they could see all the children playing below. Then they saw some kids playing with a ball. And the ball bounced away from the kids and started rolling away. The ball rolled across the street. The kids saw Lulu and Sally flying in the sky and asked for help getting the ball. 

Lulu and Sally flew down across the street and Sally grabbed the ball with her feet. Then they flew over the kids and dropped the ball to them. The kids clapped their hands and laughed. Lulu and Sally flew back up into the air. While they were in the air, they saw somebody waving at them from a building window.

Lulu and Sally flew over to the window. The person told them that they were reading by the window and accidentally dropped their book out the window and it fell onto the street. Lulu and Sally flew down and picked up the book, and brought it back up to the window. The person thanked them. 

Then Lulu and Sally were finished flying around. They went back down to the ground at the park. They saw somebody trying to take a nap on a picnic blanket. But the person couldn't get comfortable. Lulu had an idea, and she took all the feathers off the pieces of cardboard, and put it in a bag. 

Then Lulu and Sally walked up to the person on the blanket and offered them the bag of feathers as a pillow. The person thanked them, and was able to take a nap comfortably. Then it was time to go back and Lulu said goodbye to Sally. Sally thanked Lulu for fun time flying around the neighborhood with their wings.

Lulu went home and got ready for dinner. After dinner she drew a picture of her and Sally flying through the air with their feathered wings. Then she got ready for bed and brushed her teeth. After brushing her teeth, she laid down and went to sleep, slowly slowly slowly.
