Lulu and the Roller Skates

Today Lulu was excited. A box for her had arrived in the mail. She knew what was in the box and she opened it. In the box was a pair of roller skates. Those are like shoes with wheels on them. Lulu wanted to try out the roller skates on the bicycle path. Lulu carried the roller skates and walked to the bicycle path. 

When she got to the bicycle path, she took off her shoes and put them in her backpack. And she put her roller skates on. Now she was ready to skate on the bicycle path. Lulu started rolling forward on her roller skates, and she was very careful not to bump into anybody. Then Lulu skated to a tree and was resting next to it. 

After a few minutes a woman walking three dogs came over. The woman asked Lulu if she could watch the dogs while the woman used the bathroom nearby. Lulu held the dogs' leashes in her hand, and the woman went to go use the bathroom in a restaurant across the street. 

All of a sudden there was a squirrel that ran past Lulu on the bicycle path. The dogs saw the squirrel and they started to chase the squirrel. Lulu was still holding the dogs' leashes, and the dogs were pulling Lulu on her roller skates. Now Lulu was skating on the bicycle path with the dogs pulling her behind them. 

Lulu couldn't make the dogs stop because they were still chasing the squirrel. Then the squirrel ran up a street lamp and the dogs stopped at the bottom of the street lamp and were barking up at it. The squirrel stayed at the top of the street lamp. 

Now Lulu needed to take the dogs back to the tree where the woman had seen Lulu resting. And at that moment Lulu saw her friend Sally riding her bicycle on the bicycle path. Sally asked Lulu where the dogs came from, and Lulu said that they belonged to a woman who needed to use the bathroom. Then Lulu had an idea to have Sally help. 

Lulu asked Sally to bring the dogs back to the tree using her bicycle. Sally took the leashes from Lulu and tied them to her bicycle's handlebars. Then Lulu started roller skating in front of Sally, and Sally was riding her bicycle to follow Lulu. The dogs ran alongside Sally's bicycle with the leashes tied to the handlebars. 

When Lulu reached the tree, the woman was waiting there. The woman was waiting there and asked what happened. Lulu explained that the dogs had pulled her on the roller skates, while chasing a squirrel. The woman was glad that Lulu found Sally and got Sally's help with the bicycle. The woman thanked Lulu and Sally, then left. 

Then it was time to go home, and Lulu asked Sally to pull her behind the bicycle. Sally started riding towards Lulu's home, and Lulu held on to the back of Sally's seat. When they arrived at Lulu's home, Lulu thanked Sally and said goodbye. Then Sally rode away, and Lulu went upstairs. 

Lulu took off the roller skates and was very tired from all the activity. Then it was time for dinner and Lulu washed her hands. After dinner, Lulu got ready for bed and brushed her teeth. Then she laid down and went to sleep, slowly slowly slowly.
