Lulu and the Painting

One day Lulu and her parents went to the park. When they reached the park Lulu saw that there was an artist market happening. There were different tables set up, and different artists were displaying the things that they had made. Lulu walked around and took a look at the different tables.

One artist had a table full of different scarves to wear around the neck. Lulu walked to another table, and that one was full of different styles of hats. Then Lulu walked to a different table, and that one had a display of many kinds of sunglasses.

Another table Lulu walked to look at, had lots of shirts with many designs on them. Then Lulu walked around some more. And she saw that there was an artist who had some paintings on a table. These were paintings of different people. And the artist was also making new paintings of people that would sit in chairs in front of him.

Lulu and her parents decided to sit in front of the painter and have him make a painting of them. The artist started to draw and paint Lulu and her parents on a big empty paper. After the artist was finished, he gave the painting to Lulu and her parents. It looked very nice, and they planned to hang it on the wall at home.

Then Lulu had an idea. She asked the artist if he could paint a painting from looking at a photo. He said he could. And Lulu showed him a photo of her friend Sally. Lulu asked the artist to make a painting of her and Sally together. Then Lulu had an idea, before the artist started.

Lulu went to the other display tables, and got a scarf from one table, a hat from another table, sunglasses from a different table, and a shirt from the last table. The shirt had a design of the sun and moon and clouds. Lulu brought these things back to the artist. She asked him to paint the painting to look like Sally was wearing those things.

When the artist finished, the painting looked very nice. It looked like Lulu and Sally were standing next to each other, and in the painting Sally was wearing the things from the other tables. Then Lulu and her parents went to Sally’s home so that Lulu could give the painting to Sally.

Lulu also had a bag of the things that Sally was wearing in the painting. When Sally opened the door, she was excited to see Lulu. Then Lulu showed Sally the painting and Sally was very surprised. She hadn’t seen those things before, and she asked Lulu how the painting was made.

Lulu told Sally that she showed the artist a photo of Sally. And then Lulu gave Sally the bag. Sally looked in the bag and saw the scarf, hat, sunglasses and shirt. Sally laughed and said thank you.

Then it was time for Lulu and her parents to go home. When they got home, they put the painting of them on the wall. Then they ate dinner. After dinner, Lulu got ready for bed, and brushed her teeth. Then she laid down, closed he eyes, and went to sleep, slowly slowly slowly.
