Kangaroo and the Trail Mix

One morning Kangaroo went to meet her three friends. Her three friends were Zebra, Tiger and Horse. While Kangaroo was visiting her friends, they all decided to go for a walk around the forest. Kangaroo had a bag of trail mix with her. And she brought the trail mix on their walk. 


The bag of trail mix had peanuts, and cashews, and almonds, and raisins. Kangaroo brought a big bag of trail mix to share with the others. As they walked around the forest, Kangaroo's friends became hungry, and they wanted to have a snack. Kangaroo showed them the big bag of trail mix, and they were glad she brought it. 


Kangaroo passed the bag of trail mix around to Zebra, Tiger, and Horse. Each of them took a handful and ate it. Then kangaroo ate some of the trail mix. While they kept walking, Zebra took the bag of trail mix again. Zebra's favorite part of the trail mix was the peanuts. And Zebra ate only the peanuts from the bag of trail mix. Now the bag only had cashews, almonds, and raisins. 


Tiger took the bag of trail mix next. Tiger's favorite part of the trail mix was the cashews. And Tiger ate only the cashews from the bag of trail mix. Now the bag only had almonds and raisins. Horse took the bag of trail mix next. Horse's favorite part of the trail mix was the almonds. And Horse ate only the almonds from the bag of trail mix. 


Then the bag was handed back to Kangaroo. But when Kangaroo looked in the bag, there were only raisins left in it. Kangaroo asked what happened to the other parts of the trail mix. Zebra, Tiger, and Horse each said that they ate all the other different parts of the trail mix, except the raisins. Kangaroo laughed and said that was funny. 


Then Kangaroo had an idea, since there was only raisins left in the bag. It was time for lunch, and they all went back to Kangaroo's home. Kangaroo got out some cereal, and poured it into four bowls. Then kangaroo added some raisins from the bag of trail mix into the bowls of cereal. 


They all thought it was a good idea, to add raisins to the cereal. Then kangaroo's friends were ready to leave. But before they left, kangaroo said there was another bag of trail mix, and they could separate it and each take some with them. Kangaroo also had some dried fruit, which was dried bananas, dried apricots, and dried pears. 


Then Kangaroo got out some smaller bags, to put the separated trail mix into. And Zebra took all the peanuts and put them into a small bag. And Zebra added some dried bananas into the bag. Next tiger took all the cashews and put them into a small bag. And Tiger added some dried apricots into the bag. Lastly Horse took all the almonds and put them into a small bag. And Horse added some dried pears into the bag. 


Kangaroo's three friends each had a small bag of different types of trail mix each. And Kangaroo kept the raisins this time. Then Zebra, Tiger, and Horse said goodbye and left. Kangaroo was tired and ready for a nap. And Kangaroo laid down, closed her eyes, and went to sleep, slowly slowly slowly.

One day Lulu was getting ready for her friends Sally and Jimmy to come over and have lunch together. While getting ready, Lulu decided to wear a hat today. So she went to the closet and picked out a nice hat. A Can of Paint

One day Lulu was getting ready to go for a bicycle ride. She put on her helmet and took her bicycle outside. She rode past the park and reached a large parking lot. The parking lot was empty today, and there were no cars parked there. Instead, Lulu saw that there were some artists drawing things on the ground.  Lulu got off her bicycle and walked up to the artists. She asked them what they were making. They told her that they were making different designs with paint. Then they told Lulu that she could also join them if she wanted. Lulu said she would like to do that. She wondered what she could make.  The artists gave Lulu a can of paint, and a paintbrush. Lulu walked to a blank spot in the parking lot and she took the lid off the can of paint. She dipped the paintbrush into the paint and started to draw a circle. Zebra Can't Find Any Spoons

One day Zebra was making some oatmeal for lunch. Zebra opened a drawer in the kitchen to get out a spoon, but there were no more spoons. Then Zebra remembered she had lent all her spoons to Bunny for an art project. Zebra went next door to Tiger's place, to borrow a spoon from Tiger. Zebra knocked on the door and Tiger opened it.  Zebra told Tiger that she didn't have any more spoons in her kitchen drawer. Tiger invited Zebra in and they went to his kitchen. When Tiger opened his kitchen drawer, there were no spoons in there either. And Tiger also remembered that he had lent all his spoons to Bunny for an art project.  Then they went to their friend's place next door, and asked their friend Elephant if she had a spoon to borrow.
