Paper airplanes

Lulu and Sally met together and were thinking of what they could do today. Lulu said, “I have an idea, let’s make paper airplanes.” Sally said, “yes that’s a good idea, and we’ll fly them all over and see where they go.” So Lulu and Sally went to get some sheets of paper to make some paper airplanes.

They found some paper, and Lulu made some paper airplanes, and Sally made some paper airplanes. Then Lulu drew the letter “L” on her airplanes to know which ones she made. And Sally drew the letter “S” on her airplanes to know which ones she made.

They each made three paper airplanes, so altogether there were six paper airplanes. Lulu said, “okay let’s go fly the paper airplanes and see where they go.” Sally said, “that sounds fun, we’ll also see which ones go the farthest.” Then Lulu and Sally went outside to fly their paper airplanes.

Lulu threw the first paper airplane. It flew up, and went forward, and then went up again and landed in a tree. Lulu said, “haha that’s funny, we’ll call that one the tree paper airplane.”

Sally got ready, and threw her paper airplane next. It flew up, and went forward, then flew down and landed next to a stop-sign. Sally said, “haha that’s funny, we’ll call that one the stop-sign paper airplane.”

It was Lulu turn again. She threw the next paper airplane, and it flew forward, then it flew up, then it flew down, and it landed on a fence. Lulu said, “haha that’s funny, we’ll call that one the fence paper airplane.”

Sally was ready to go next, and threw her paper airplane. It flew forward, then turned left, then flew forward some more, and it landed on top of a parked car. Sally said, “haha that’s funny, we’ll call that one the car paper airplane.”

Lulu had her last paper airplane and then threw it forward. It went straight, then turned to the right, and it landed on a bicycle. Lulu said, “haha that’s funny, we’ll call that one the bicycle paper airplane.”

Sally had her last paper airplane ready, and she threw it ahead. It went straight, then went up and made a loop, then came down and it landed on a bush. Sally said, “haha that’s funny, we’ll call that one the bush paper airplane.”

So altogether they threw six paper airplanes into the air, and each landed somewhere different. The paper airplanes landed on a tree, a stop-sign, a fence, a car, a bicycle, and a bush. Then Lulu and Sally went and picked up the paper airplanes. Now they were ready to go home, so they walked back, slowly slowly slowly.
